It was the size, the character and the setting of Hungerford that brought him and his wife Virginia, here after many visits over the years. The vibrancy of the community spirit is apparent and bodes well in his plans to promote the town as an attractive business and tourist destination. |
Dennis has lived in the town with his wife since 1997. As Chair of the Recreation, Amenities & War Memorial Committee he is keen to maintain and, where possible, help to improve the town's facilities; especially for the younger members of our community. Also member of Finance & General Purposes and Highways & Transport Committees. |
Colin Bumbieris has lived in Hungerford Newtown for nine years and works in the express transport industry. He believes Hungerford is a lively, vibrant community and a great place to live. He would like to keep it that way. |

Aims to preserve the historic character of the town, to protect the countryside, and to represent residents’ concerns. Serves on the Environment & Planning and Highways & Transport Committees and supports the Council with the AONB. After Army service Stephen worked in Personnel Management for BEA, ICL and British Railways Board.

Rupert has lived in Hungerford for 19 years with his wife and 3 children. He is keen to see Hungerford develop and improve its facilities and housing stock, but in a carefully structured manner in keeping with the area. He sits on the Environment & Planning and Finance & General Purposes committees and is deputy chair of the Recreation, Amenities & War Memorials committee. |
