The Chair explained that she had received a second phone call from a member of the public enquiring about the recent comments HTC has made regarding climate change (i.e. showing Al Gore’s film and inviting interested members of public to sign up at the AGM). The member of the public has asked what HTC was planning to do; and how he could be involved. Cllr Scorey asked the Committee the question ‘what is GTC doing’.
It was decided that a request for the matter was to be included on the next Full Council meeting (the Chair of which was in attendance). In the short term Cllr Acworth took the details of the interested member of the public again and vowed to contact him.
