Minutes of the Environment and Planning meeting held at 7pm on Tuesday 5th June 2007
in the Town Hall, Hungerford

3) Minutes of 21st May 2007
Proposed: Cllr Bullock. Seconded: Cllr Harries. Vote: All in favour. The minutes were signed as a true and accurate record by Cllr Scorey.
4) Affordable Housing
The Site Appraisals were considered to be thorough and the Committee looks forward to hearing from the CCB regarding the potential for getting planning permission.
5) Future Projects
The Committee was happy with the way the relationship between 2010+ Group and itself were working with regards to Affordable Housing/Rural Exception Sites.

To approach the 2010+ Group to request that they consider working with the Committee with regards to the Local Development Framework. Consideration was also given to inviting West Berkshire Council to address the Committee re: LDF. Cllr Scorey to write to 2010+ in the first instance.
Swindon Borough Council – Waste & Minerals Questionnaire
Proposed: Cllr Thompson. Seconded: Cllr Harries. Vote: All in favour. To write to District Cllr Holtby requesting that he takes into consideration any cross boundary issues. Cllr Scorey to write.

Two storey extension to provide enlarged kitchen and utility room. Enlarged bedroom and additional bedroom to loft area. The Committee attended a site visit and viewed the site. The applicant and objector were both present.
Proposed: Cllr Bullock. Seconded: Cllr Ackworth. Vote: All in favour. To write a letter to West Berkshire Planning Department to change the Committee’s comments from that of ‘no objections’ to one of ‘object’ please see attached letter. Cllr Scorey to write.
