Minutes of the meeting of the Environment and Planning Committee held on Monday, 8th June 2009 at 7 pm in the Corn Exchange Complex, Hungerford

Present:  Cllrs Booth, Buckwell, Harries, Wilson, Liddiard and Gaines,

1. Apologies for absence:  Hudson, Bullock, Werrell and Parry

3. Minutes of meeting held on 27th May 2009:  proposed as a true record by Cllr Gaines,

         seconded by Cllr Buckwell, 1 abstention, 5 in favour

4. Planning Applications

09/00500/HOUSE.  10 Wantage Road – Mr John Stephens
Balcony and fire escape to rear of building which includes 2 sets of PVC french doors on ground and first floor.  Application  declared invalid by WBC, therefore not debated.

09/00931/HOUSE.  Daisy Cottage, Wantage Road, Eddington – Mr Euan Russell
Two storey extension

No Objections proposed by Cllr Harries, seconded by Cllr Wilson, all in favour

         Cllr Cardwell arrived at 8.05 pm.

09/00617/HOUSE.  11 Combe View – Mrs S Olney

Divide existing integral garage to form store room at rear and cycle store at front.

No Objections proposed by Cllr Gaines, seconded by Cllr Harries, all in favour

5. Case Officer’s Reports, etc:

09/00580/FULD.  Land adjacent to 10 Park Street – Ms L Mizon  GRANTED:  WBC recorded our request for gate to be preserved but no conditions stipulated:  Cllr Booth to clarify with WBC and item to be placed on next agenda.  Action:  Cllr Booth and Clerk.

The Application for  1 Charnham Street (Great Grooms) has been withdrawn following adverse reports from conservation bodies.

6. Risk Assessments:  The RA file was passed to Cllr Buckwell.

7. Finance:  Budget remains unspent.
