Minutes of the meeting of the Environment and Planning Committee held on Monday 24th August 2009 at 7pm in the Corn Exchange Complex Hungerford
Present: Cllrs Booth, Wilson, Bullock, Gaines, Parry, Liddiard, Buckwell and Cardwell. One member of the public
1. Apologies for absence: Cllrs Harries, Werrell and Acworth.
2. Declarations of Interest: Cllrs Gaines and Booth both declared and interest in item 6.
3. Minutes of meeting held on 10th August 2009: These were accepted as a true record. Cllr Buckwell proposed acceptance, Cllr Bullock seconded. Cllr Cardwell abstained as she was only there for part of the meeting. All other councillors voted in favour.
4. LDF: Cllr Gaines informed the committee that there had been a response from WBC and that there would be no decision on Housing numbers for Hungerford until late 2010. She said that she would scan the letter and send it via email to councillors.

29 Ramsbury Drive – 2 storey extension
Cllr Bullock proposed no objections, Seconded Cllr Liddiard.
Cllrs Cardwell and Gaines voted against the proposal
Cllrs Buckwell and Wilson Abstained
All other councillors voted in favour of the proposal.
Cllr Cardwell explained about the boundary and the shrubbery being removed and a fence being erected next to the property. It was agreed to add a comment to the proposal concerning this development.

6. Revised plans

Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, Priory Road – Additional parking and other amendments
The chair was passed to the Mayor, Cllr Cardwell, to discuss this application. The revised plans were for information only and were not to be voted on. There is increased parking for each proposed property and additional parking for the church this is as the HTC recom-mended at the application’s original meeting. There are also some changes to the road layout. There was a discussion on both the site visit on the 27th which will be attended by Cllrs Cardwell and Buckwell, and on the application going to the Western Area planning meeting on the 2nd September.
