Minutes of the Finance & General Purposes Grants Sub-Committee meeting held on Tuesday, 17th March 2009 in the Council Offices, The Library, Hungerford at 6.30pm.

1. Apologies: R Hudson, A Buckwell
2. Declarations of Interests: G Bullock for St Lawrence’s and Hungerford Twinning, P Harries for the Bowls Club, J Booth, the Camera Club and E Cardwell, the Scouts.
3. To discuss Section 137 Charity Payments and 145 payments Local Government Act 1972 7 section 79 Charities Act 1993.
The following applications were discussed and granted as stated. The S137 grant for Chain is subject to the clarification from D Holtby that WBC will be only funding their transport. The grant for Hungerford Twinning is specifically for the purchase of books and hospitality for the French students.
