Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church at the United Reform Church

The Catholic community in Hungerford continue to come together to celebrate Sunday Mass at 9.00am at the United Reformed Church in Hungerford High Street and we thank them for their continued support whilst we are temporarily homeless awaiting completion of our new church on the old site in Priory Road.
We also have Mass on alternate Thursdays at 10.00am.

The site in Priory Road has been bustling with activity with two main contractors building side by side. The houses being built by Linden Homes are nearly complete and some of the new homes in "Lourdes Crescent" have already been occupied.

The church which is under construction by Beards is an impressive building, already, but there is still much to be done, the roof is nearly complete and the unusually dry sunny spell has certainly been helpful. We are planning to have a new stone altar and are currently raising funds to replace our old chairs, some of which were rather wood wormy, with new benches. So a very exciting and busy time ahead in the next few months.
