The West's Gift ... Christs Hospital is an outstanding residential school for boys and girls in Horsham. The West's Gift is an endowment designed to assist with the school fees and is open to children from Hungerford. "After attending open days at Christ's Hospital I was certain this was the place I wanted to learn and grow up in; the boarding houses, theatre, acres upon acres of countryside and its fantastic traditions enticed me into this buzzing community. The main emphasis of the entrance assessments were on whether one would feel comfortable within the boarding house and was a keen and able student. CH has provided me a unique and fulfilling education which has been enriched with opportunities to travel to many exciting places around the world, such as Russia, Italy and South Africa. CH has a great sporting history which I have been proud to be a part of, captaining rugby and hockey teams have been a highlight of my time at the school. Drama and music are also popular pastimes of every CH pupil with many school plays and concerts to take part in and of course the famous marching band being integral elements of the school.
