Carbon Footprint There are many carbon footprint calculators on the internet. Some are very simple, some more complicated. Some only take into account your home fuel consumption and travel and others count your purchases and contribution to local and national services. Whichever one you choose to use, it is only an estimation but can be a valuable tool in identifying the most carbon intensive areas of your lifestyle and help you to track the results of any changes you make. To live such that we are not endangering our human habitat we need to be under 2 tonnes pa per person. The UK average is currently 11 tonnes.
